Fun was Be Had

Last weekend was great. Mvobs family is mucho fun, and full of teasing.
The coast/beach was great. I saw a sea otter, who came pretty close to us, and the birds let us get really close. The black rocks and big logs were wonderful, the wind was lovely, and the company was delightful.

I LOVE playing with kids! Several of his nieces and nephews were there, and one niece stole all my food! Well, she didn't actually steal it, but every time I saw her eating, I was concerned - "hey, that's my pomegranate I brought for my lunch tomorrow!" But then it wouldn't be, she had brought the same food. But then, when I would eat mine, she would beg it off me in such a cute way that I could not resist. She's seven, and an only child princess type girl - always expecting everyone to give her attention and give her what she wants. She's a good girl anyway.

I brought along Apples to Apples and Loaded Questions, which we all played and loved. We also played Pit, which was great, but we had to quit because it was just getting too loud for the little ones who should have been sleeping. We then moved on to Scattegories, but quit when one of the little children came out and began throwing up. She was eaten some of the fluoride tablets Mvobs brother had brought along. (His brother is in dental school... a dentist in the family is never a bad thing.)

I didn't get enough sleep, of course. I never sleep in even slightly noisy situations, let alone strange/different settings. Last night I didn't improve on that any, as I went to an Old 97s concert. It was GRRRRRRRRRREAT, some may say it rocked. Yes, it did. Much so. Time to go-
