Interest wanes daily. Maybe Derek is just a moon cycle. It begins, there's excitement. It builds. It wanes.

He's still fun an interesting, but each time I spend time with him I'm less interested romantically, and more interested in *just* friendship.

Possibly time to expand and explore further options again.
